The Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), was created to prohibit federal contractors and subcontractors from discriminating against protected veterans.
VEVRAA requires federal government contractors who are required to develop an affirmative action program (AAP), to include a hiring benchmark every year for protected veterans.
